A thesis is an absolute requirement for obtaining a graduate degree, whether it be a master’s or a doctoral degree. It serves as a formal document that showcases an individual’s exceptional research discoveries, analysis, and deductions.

• Know your objectives.
• Choose an area of your passion or deep interest wisely. Think of subjects which may be trending or will trend in the next few months. E.g. Large Languagre Model, Multi Modal Models, Transformers, ChatGPT, etc.
• What you would like to investigate, what will be the strength of your work/area of interest
• Start collecting tools and resources.
• Have a good understanding of concepts, keep revising on the strengths, build on your knowledge on daily basis.
• Undertake new learning activity on daily basis.
• See what work has already been done in the academic and commercial space.
• Know the SME’s, find out people who are the experts in the area. Listen and read about topics, subjects they are talking about currently.
• Find a mentor or coach, work and discuss with them about your interest on regular basis.
• Understand the chronology of work done.
• Start interacting in the communities of your interests.
• Make a plan and work on it daily basis.
• Start putting your thoughts into writing. Write something on daily basis and refine as often.
• Identify and use different tools to your advantage.
• Perfrom experiments in line with your objectives.
